I managed a couple of beautiful wild 'bows, but they were pretty small. The first was probably 6" and the second around 4". I didn't take their pictures because I was holding out for a bigger fish... this was my downfall. I jinxed myself.
Michael spent some time decorating the trees with his flies (don't we all?), but he always re-rigged and jumped right back in. He didn't chuck his rod in the water or anything... that's a good sign, because it can be a frustrating thing.
This is what the parking lot looked like when we finished around 2pm on President's Day. Busy, busy, busy.
I had a really good time fishing with Michael. He is a great kid who listens and learns easily. I'm looking forward to our next trip.
