I caught this Golden Trout late one evening in a shallow pool between cascading water.  It fell for an Elk hair Caddis.

A spot near camp that holds smaller fish than what can be found hiking about a mile or more, but provided the quick fix for those mid-day fishing itches.

On my last full day I was able to get this Kern Golden (based not only my opinion, but also several people at the local fly shop).  Notice the black spots are plentiful as you would see with a Rainbow.  Goldens usually have very few comparatively, especially near the head.
