Trip Update - while I happen to have Internet access at the RV park where we are staying tonight.

Day 0.5

We left Wednesday night instead of trying to get out of the house early Thursday morning.  I don't know why, but actually leaving the house takes longer than all the packing and preparation combined.  We arrived in Barstow sometime after 11pm, fed the dogs, locked up, and various other this-n-thats, we made it to bed at midnight.

Day 1

Up at 5am and on the road.  Drove just about all day (with stops), and arrived in Hatch, UT around 6pm MST.  Just enough time for me to fish the Sevier River (pronounced like severe).  It's gotta be in the low 20's outside.  Keeping the ice off my guides was a pain.  Changing my spot or the fly resulted in my needing to knock the ice welding the fly line to the rod guides.  I'm not complaining - this is what I came for.  I didn't catch anything in the one hour before dinner and sundown, but there are some fishy waters here.
