Fly Fishing Suggested Knots

The indicated knots might not be the strongest, but I also consider factors like:

1. How long does it take to tie?
2. Does it have a slim or small profile?
3. Can a properly tied knot (see the knot seating section) provide at least 90% line strength?

Another knot that I love and use regularly for nymphs is the uni-knot.  Soon I will make a tutorial for that one too.
